Dram Cottage is a beautiful private home sleeping up to 6 people nestled in the very heart of the wonderful village of Findhorn.

The traditional one and half storey fisherman’s cottage is situated in the very centre of Findhorn.

Findhorn is a historic village located in Moray. It was once an important commercial and fishing port with a thriving shipbuilding industry with trading links to Scandinavia and beyond.

Findhorn village is focused around the bay, with one of the area’s major sailing and water sports centres making its home here. Findhorn has a magnificent beach, a delightful harbour and a small heritage centre.

Directions to Dram Cottage

Dram Cottage is approx 3½ hours from Edinburgh, 1¾ hour from Aberdeen and 55 minutes from Inverness.

By road:  Follow the A96 to Forres. At the Findhorn roundabout, take the B9011 exit to Findhorn and Burghead. After two miles, you’ll come to a set of traffic lights by The Abbey Inn. Turn left at the traffic lights and continue until you come in to the outskirts of Findhorn. As you continue into the village, you’ll come to a war memorial.  Keep left at the memorial onto the one way system.

Drive past the Kimberley Inn and the Crown & Anchor Pub.  At the Crown & Anchor bear right, and follow the road as it curves to the right. Travel as far as The Bakehouse and The Village Stores and turn immediate left after the shop, down a small gravel lane. You may park opposite the house between the blue shed and hedge.

By Air: Inverness airport is a 40 minute car journey from Findhorn

By Rail: Forres station is 5 miles away and is on the Inverness to Aberdeen line

WHAT AN AMAZING FIND THIS PLACE IS

This place is simply amazing – we stayed here in August and the weather was super. One week was not enough and we are coming back!

CLEAN, COMFORTABLE AND QUIET

Findhorn is a lovely quiet place, perfect for getting away from it all. Very comfortable house with everything you need. The beach is lovely to.

COSY WONDERFUL HOUSE

A simply lovely house that is sooo cosy. Great local pub just 500 yard walk, and the walks from the house across the dunes and into the woods are lovely.
